Aug-Sep 2026 Newsletter

The White Estate has a tidy explanation for why Patriarchs and Prophets grew so much larger than the little 1864 volume that came before it. The extra material, they say, came from "many repeated visions." It is a claim that can be tested. So we tested it.

We laid Ellen White's 1864 Spiritual Gifts side by side with her 1890 Patriarchs and Prophets and asked one question of every new detail: where did this come from? Again and again, the answer was not heaven. It was her bookshelf.

She told her followers these books were "the voice of God speaking to His people." Yet the book contradicts the Bible and known scientific facts.

Friends, the book Patriarchs and Profits I appreciate above silver or gold, and I greatly desire that it shall come before the people. That is why I am making it available free online. Share it on social media.

Along with our new online book, we have a new video on how Seventh-day Adventism reversed the Protestant Reformation, an article on the most heretical page Ellen White ever wrote, and an article on Ellen's Loud Cry confusion. Please share with others.

Visions of Prophet? Or Profit?

New Online Book: Patriarchs and Profits
Patriarchs and Profits

Ellen White said the history in Patriarchs and Prophets was opened to her in vision, and the White Estate says the book grew through "many repeated visions." This new online book puts that claim to the test. By comparing her 1864 account with the 1890 book, it traces the new details to the books on her own shelves—Cumming, Conant, Edersheim, Matthew Henry, the Columbian Family Bible, even the apocryphal Book of Jasher. It also shows what statements she quietly removed when her earlier "revelations" became impossible to defend, and how the whole enterprise was marketed as "the voice of God" when they knew it wasn't.
