May 2026 Newsletter

Having been an SDA for 33 years, I feel for them. I know the terror of never knowing for sure if my performance was good enough to be saved in the Investigative Judgment. I've felt the angst whenever a Christian is elected to national office because he might be the one to introduce Sunday Laws. I know what it's like to view every non-SDA with suspicion. I know what it's like to share the "three angels' messages" instead of the gospel.

People ask, why bother bringing up Ellen White's failures? Because she is the foundation of everything that is wrong in the Seventh-day Adventist Corporation. In 1994, when I invited a friend to an SDA evangelistic series — you know, the ones where the evangelist won't admit he's an SDA until the last day — the topic was the Seal of God and the Mark of the Beast. Afterward, my friend asked me how I could believe such teachings since they weren't based on any Biblical facts. I pondered that a while and realized: it was Ellen White.

National Sunday Law books

Ellen White is the source of the National Sunday Law frenzy. (And yes, they keep sending me Marcussen's book.) Ellen White is the only foundation for the Investigative Judgment doctrine. Without Ellen White, all of their false doctrines come tumbling down. If the false gospel of SDAism is to be stopped, then Ellen White must be exposed. That's why we do this.

This newsletter explores false prophecies, hypocrisy, and more. Please share with your friends on social media!

Picture of the Van Horn Family (public domain)

Ellen wanted nothing to interfere with the work. That included her own children. She didn't allow them to hinder her work. They were largely raised by others. And she expected the same of her followers. Imagine her exasperation with the Van Horns - an SDA family who believed in raising their own children!

This was more than a childhood prank gone wrong. This story, told to SDA leader W.A. Colcord in Australia by Ellen White herself, was something she seemed to share with pride and without reservation. You have to read this crooked tale to believe it. This story should frighten every Seventh-day Adventist.
